Have you ever held the Aurora in your hand?
I’m Darshann Ruckman. For more than 30 years, I’ve loved working with Swarovski crystals: choosing colors, watching them catch the light, and imagining the person who will one day wear them.
How the Aurora was captured in stone
I believe jewelry can hold a moment. A necklace might remind you of a celebration. A bracelet might bring back an afternoon with a friend. And sometimes, on an ordinary day, a crystal catches the light and invites you to pause.
That feeling is what inspires Western Crystal Dreamer. Swarovski crystals have a history of careful craftsmanship and a connection to the Northern Lights: years after Daniel Swarovski began cutting crystals with remarkable precision, the aurora inspired a finish that shimmered with changing colors. Not every crystal has that finish, but I love the thought that a little of the sky’s wonder can find its way into something we wear.
I make jewelry for children who see magic everywhere and for adults who never stopped looking for it. Browse my work to find a piece that speaks to you, or join me to make a memory around the table.
Gather, create... and celebrate!
At my children’s crystal tea parties, guests dress up, try on jewelry, and take home pieces they’ve chosen.
For couples and friends, I offer jewelry making classes filled with crystals, conversation, and the pleasure of creating something to wear. I also welcome questions about birthdays and special gatherings.
Whether you’re here for a piece of jewelry (and do check out my etsy store!), a celebration, or simply a closer look at the crystals, I’m glad you found your way here. I hope something catches the light for you.
