Making
the Aurora
Some evenings ask for something different. A little time away from the ordinary. A table full of sparkling crystals, good conversation, and the pleasure of making something with your own hands. Jewelry that you made, and can take home!
Spend an evening learning to make Swarovski crystal jewelry. Pick out your jewels, and settings, and design bracelets, anklets, rings, earrings and necklaces. Come with a partner for a date night, or gather your friends - for a birthday, or simply a fun night out. Bring someone who would enjoy spending an afternoon creating beside you. You do not need experience - just curiosity and a willingness to see where the light leads.
We will explore jewelry, jewels, and personal style as we work, learning about their ancient mystical properties, modern controversies, and interesting facts. We will understand fashion - and magic! There is room to ask questions, try something unexpected, and discover what you are drawn to.
Daniel Swarovski dreamed of cutting crystal so precisely that every facet could catch and return the light. Years later, the Northern Lights inspired a finish that shimmered with changing colors. As you choose your crystals and begin to make a piece of your own, I hope you feel a little of that same excitement: the moment when an idea in your hands becomes something you can wear.
With light refreshments and plenty of conversation, you'll come away with something much more precious than jewels! Spend an evening with someone you love, make something beautiful, and remember how good it feels to be curious.
Some gatherings will have a little extra enchantment. Look for special events inspired by Halloween, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, the equinoxes, and the solstices. One evening might feel festive and bright; another might lean into moonlight, mystery, and a touch of witchy sparkle. I also offer jewelry making gatherings for birthdays and other occasions worth celebrating.
